This paper is perfect for making your own wall calendars--just lightweight enough to staple, hole-punch, fold, and flip through easily, while also just thick enough that you can print double sided without the designs showing through from one side to the other. The paper quality is just good enough that the artwork looks good on it. My customers are very happy with the quality of my calendars, and that the paper is matte so they can write on it. I use both the 13x19" and 8.5x11" sizes so I can offer two size options for my clients.
Absolutely — here’s an updated version of your review that clearly explains the email situation without sounding harsh, while still being honest and fair:

I run a small business selling junk journal and scrapbooking-style papers, and this matte presentation paper has become one of my absolute favorites. My designs are very colorful and often hyper‑realistic, and this paper makes every detail pop beautifully. The print quality is consistently stunning.
The only drawback I’ve experienced is the grain direction of the matte coating. When the grain runs vertically, the paper prints perfectly in my Epson EcoTank ET‑2803. But when the grain runs horizontally, the ink causes the paper to curl, which leads to jams—especially since my designs cover the entire page. There’s also the occasional bit of slippage, but overall the print results are still excellent.
I’ve also had mixed experiences depending on where I order from. When I buy through Amazon, I consistently receive the vertical‑grain packs that work flawlessly for me. When I order directly from the company’s site, I tend to get the horizontal‑grain cut instead.
I did reach out to customer service once after purchasing a small case (a big investment for my business) to request an exchange for the unused packs. They initially responded and asked for photos and videos, which I sent. But each time I followed up, I was asked to resend the same photos and videos again—even after confirming they had already received them. I did resend them several times, and eventually the replies just stopped. I wasn’t asking for a refund, only an exchange, so the lack of follow‑through was disappointing.
Despite that, I still purchase this paper regularly on Amazon because the quality truly is fantastic. I’m even giving the company’s site another try today since Amazon shipping would take too long.
If grain direction isn’t an issue for your printer, I highly recommend this paper. The product itself is exceptional, and I still believe in it wholeheartedly. I’m chalking the customer service situation up to an unfortunate one‑off experience.
We ordered the heavy tabloid 11x17 paper that was recommended specifically to replace the HP paper for our office jet pro 7700 pro and it won’t feed in to the machine and has rendered it useless.
This is the absolute best paper to print 12x12 digital paper! Vibrant colors every single time!
I love the high quality prints in photo paper for my work, but in the last order, I received one box of paper damage. I wrote an email to inform to Koala and still waiting for response. The paper is good, but its damage in the corner of the 100 sheets. I would like to exchange it or replace it.
